Our journey begins with a visit to a hidden gem of Romanian heritage - an old, still-functioning water mill in Ohaba, where centuries-old traditions come to life before your eyes. From there, we head to the charming village of Viscri, one of Transylvania's best-preserved Saxon settlements.
Get ready for an unforgettable adventure through some of Romania’s most breathtaking landscapes! We’ll pick you up from your accommodation in Brașov and set off on an exciting journey through the Carpathian Mountains.
Our first stop is the Libearty Bear Sanctuary in Zărnești, home to over 100 rescued bears. Here, you’ll learn their heartwarming stories and witness these magnificent animals in a natural environment. Next, we enter the stunning Piatra Craiului National Park, where we’ll take a short walk through the Zărnești Gorge. Towering limestone cliffs, fresh mountain air, and untouched nature make this one of the most spectacular spots in Romania. From there, we explore the picturesque mountain villages of Măgura and Peștera, where time seems to stand still. You’ll be amazed by the breathtaking views of the Bucegi and Piatra Craiului Mountains. In one of these villages, we’ll visit a traditional household, where you’ll enjoy a warm cup of tea and taste locally made cheese, prepared right there on the farm.
